A Letter to VITAS from U.S. Senator Bill Nelson

VITAS Healthcare is celebrating its 40th anniversary through June of 2019. In November, U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., sent us a letter acknowledging our anniversary and congratulating our growth from one of the nation’s first hospice programs to a leading provider of end-of-life care. While the impact of our work on patients’ and families’ quality of life is a reward in itself, recognition like this reminds us just how far we’ve come. You can read Sen. Nelson’s letter below.
