Webinar: Enhancing Access, Quality and Equity for Persons with Advanced Illness

November 1, 2023

About this Webinar for Physicians and Healthcare Professionals

Panel experts will examine various facets of healthcare access, equity, and inclusion as they relate to individuals in underserved communities who are coping with advanced illness.

Based on their decades of experience in end-of-life care, as well as evidence-based data, panel members will also share strategies for mitigating current barriers to quality care, including ensuring patients are granted timely access to hospice and palliative services and that appropriate levels of care are provided.

Attendees will learn to identify underserved populations, discuss factors that impact timely access to quality end-of-life care, and explore opportunities to expand care access and promote care equity into daily practice.

This webinar is offered for both CME and CE credit:

  • CME credit is available to physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA).
  • CE credit is available to nurses (RN, LPN, LVN; in California Registered Nurses only), social workers and certified case managers, as well as licensed nursing home administrators in the states of Florida and Illinois.

Attendees can earn 1.5 continuing education hours. See below for full certification information and instructions.
