Stretching from Florida’s Nature Coast to the Georgia border, VITAS provides hospice care for seriously ill patients and their families in 11 Florida counties: Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Suwannee and Union.

VITAS hospice care has an inpatient unit located in Lecanto as well as offices and at-home services available throughout Citrus County and the Nature Coast.

In addition to expert clinical care, our hospice professionals are trained to understand veterans, their sacrifices and the effects that military service and combat have had on their lives.
