Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
The VITAS nurse practitioner performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the physician. Qualified candidates must have two years minimum of hospice, home health or community health experience and a current state of STATE-ABBREVIATION ARNP license.
Admissions Nurse, RN
VITAS admissions nurses are our patients and families’ first introduction to the quality end-of-life care that VITAS provides. The admissions nurse’s primary responsibility is to present VITAS services and philosophy to patients and families in a manner that results in appropriate hospice admissions. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse in acute or sub-acute care and a current state of STATE-ABBREVIATION RN license.

The VITAS nursing supervisor is the leader of the patient care team who supervises, evaluates and coordinates the various members of the interdisciplinary team. Social Worker, MSW
The VITAS social worker supports the psychosocial well-being of our patients and families by defining social service goals for alleviating problems, and providing the counseling and casework needed to meet these goals. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of social service experience in a health-care setting or social service agency and a master of social work degree.

The VITAS home health aide is a certified nursing assistant (CNA) or certified home health aide (CHHA) who provides personal care and services to VITAS patients to augment the care given by family members. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience and a current certification.
HME Delivery Technician
As a VITAS HME delivery technician, your primary responsibilities will include driving a 14-foot box truck, and delivery and pick up of home medical equipment, education and assessment to patients who are terminally ill.
Respiratory Therapist
The VITAS respiratory therapist provides respiratory services to patients and participates in the care process as needed. To qualify for the position, candidates must be National Board of Respiratory Care credentialed and have a minimum of two (2) years of experience and a current state of STATE-ABBREVIATION license for respiratory care.

Massage Therapist
